About KraftWald
Support for Family Caregivers of People with Dementia
KraftWald is a quiet place for people who carry much. For family caregivers whose everyday life is changing. For people who are tired – yet still want to remain loving.
This isn't about perfection. It's about small steps, about dignity, about closeness – and about what truly helps in everyday life.
What KraftWald Stands For
KraftWald accompanies family caregivers of people with dementia with practical, calm, and dignified guidance. At the centre are relief, orientation, and the trust that not everything needs to be done "right" to be good.
The ideas on KraftWald are designed so that they:
don't overwhelm
fit into everyday life
work without performance pressure
foster closeness and familiarity
Why KraftWald Was Created
In conversations with family caregivers, I repeatedly hear phrases like: "If only I'd known this earlier..." or "If I'd had such ideas, things would have been so much easier."
Many family caregivers support their loved ones at home – often without exchange, without a team, without certainty whether their own actions are "right."
KraftWald emerged from the desire to support exactly there: early, calmly, and close to everyday life.
What You'll Find on KraftWald
On KraftWald you'll find insights from lived practice in dementia care, such as:
calm activity ideas
gentle approaches to dealing with restlessness
suggestions for structure and familiarity
thoughts that relieve rather than judge
This always applies: Every person is different. Every day is different.
What works well today might not fit tomorrow. That's not failure – it's part of the journey.
